THE ADVENTURE OF TOM SAWYER
Chapter 10: In The Cave


Saturday, Tom and Becky played again in the cave. They stopped in near some water. “What time it is?” said Becky. “I don’t know” said Tom. They was stucked in the cave three days, they was sad and wanted to go home. Becky felt hungry, Tom went looked for some food, then he back and brought some food. “Eat this food, it isn’t nice but it can make you full.” After ate, Tom went to looked for the door. He walked and walked, suddenly he saw two men in there, that is Injun Joe and his friend. Tom was afraid and he made noisy for anticipate, then Injun Joe with his friend went away.

Tom continued his walked, he was tired and went to Becky. The next day, Tom and Becky walked and walked again but they didn’t the door. Tom told to Becky to sit and broke, he walked alone. Then he saw a small light, he discovered the door. As soon as he back to Becky and out from the cave. After they out in the cave he saw some men in a boat. They were wave hands and shout out “We want to go home. Can you help us?”
“Yes, we can take you home.”
Tom and Becky went in the boat with the men. They arrived home very late Tuesday night, and people in the town were very happy. Tom talked all night about their adventure in the cave.
