After that, he was going to sleep and dreaming met with a beautiful girl. Then he woke up to ate for food. Surprisingly, he saw a beautiful girl, that girl was cooking. Then she reprimanding "excuse me, who are you?" Toba said. Upset a girl "Sorry, I came from your pail" She answered frantically. Toba saw his pail, and felt weird. "Sorry mr.farmer, I am a golden Fish, you brought me some time ago." Toba didn't believe that, but she couldn't stop telling.

Finally, Toba believed it and he felt in love with her. Toba merried with the woman, but with a promise, that she would not tell her where it came from, Toba agreed and got married soon. After that he was blessed with a son named Samosir.

A few years later, Samosir was told by his mother to go to the field to bring his father's lunch. On the way he felt hungry and tired, then he rested and ate that lunch. After feeling full, he continued his journey to the fields. When he arrived at the farm, his hungry father immadiately opened a lunch box that was brought by Samosir, apparently inside it contained leftovers. Toba was very angry and said his taboo was "the bottom of the fish!!" toba shouted. Suddenly the sky was cloudy, thunder roared, and it rained very hard. River water overflowed, flooding the village area. Meanwhile his mother who knew it immediately sought Samosir and invited him up the hill. After reaching the hill, they saw continuous everlflowing water that filled the land. Finally Samosir and his mother jumped into the water and turned into fish.

Since then, people named it Lake Toba and the island in the middle of it was named Lake Samosir.
